Mayor of Oslo meets South London Listens community

The Mayor of Oslo, Marianne Borgen, met with members of the South London Listens community to hear about the work taking place to prevent a mental ill-health crisis in our communities and build community resilience.

The meeting, which took place on December 1, 2022 at Salvation Army, Camberwell, was an opportunity to share how South London Listens came about and the ongoing work in our communities.

South London Citizens, part of the community organising charity Citizens UK shared more details about community organising in South London and parents and volunteers from PACT (Parents and Communities Together) spoke to Mayor Borgen about their experiences and how the programme has supported them. https://www.pact-citizens.org/

The South London Listens programme team also shared details of our ongoing commitment to make London a Living Wage City.
